Who are we?

Roots4Clarinets is a clarinet quartet formed in 2015. The group was born from the meeting of four students from the Strasbourg Academy of Music, guided by the desire to share a human and musical adventure. Since its creation, the quartet has explored a broad musical horizon, mixing original works for this formation and arrangements.

Rich from its diverse origins (Spain, Venezuela, France), Roots4Clarinets wishes to promote music from different cultures to the public. The group is also committed to a strong approach to the interpretation of today's music. They thus played during the 2017 edition of the Musica Festival in Strasbourg.

Their artistic standards and their desire for excellence were rewarded in November 2017 by obtaining the Grand Jury Prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary work at the International Competition for the Interpretation of Today's Music in Boulogne-Billancourt. , thanks to the play Face à Face by Bruno Mantovani.
